If you’re going to buy their so called “silver coins,” be aware.

I bought a rarer dollar and half dollar coin from them, and I assumed it has the silver metal inside because all coin collectors know if a coin is called “silver coin,” it has the metal composition. I found out that it was 100% nickel (metal) and I talked to a guy who was in there. The “silver” he meant was the color of the coin, NOT the metal composition. I gave a 4 star review because the owner was great enough to issue a refund for me. The coins they had were “average” circulated which isn’t gonna add much extra value.

We carted home a suitcase full of wonderful books on Canadian topics thanks to this thoughtfully curated bookshop. The store clerk was extremely helpful in suggesting titles that suited our interests.

We paid several visits to this shop during our stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. What a great little gem — and a wonderful diversion from our conference. It is a wonderfully suitable store showcasing Can Con in an iconic Canadian setting.

What a wonderful little book shop. I wish we had the name of the owner, but he knows his inventory of books by heart. He keeps an inventory that pertains to the Canadian Rockies, including great art.

The owner is very personable and helpful. He recommended some great poetry, even reading us some samples.

Take some time to peruse the titles and ask questions. It will be a pleasant experience.

Fantastic bookstore. I had never stopped in until this past weekend when it was quiet. Assuming it was a standard gift shop, but was wrong. Had a great chat with the owner who is passionate about his business and bought few children's books and cool paintings he gets custom made. Support him!! Prices are NOT inflated because he is in the chateau!
