Big price gouging if you don’t carefully curate your shopping list. Really great that they have pretty much everything you’d need though. Staff member wasn’t the friendliest. The town needs a shop like this so it really is great, but the price gouging is not good.
A small grocery store next to Lake Louis visitor center. Everything is super overpriced. They have some frozen and fresh vegetables. They have homemade banana bread. They don't accept Amex and Discover.
Google reviews suggests this place closes early and isn’t well-stocked. They’re wrong.
For a small holiday town grocery store the range of food here was actually pretty good, though prices were eye watering, so, if you have the chance, stock up in Canmore before you get here.
However, if you’re staying nearby and want to self-cater they have a good range of meat, vegetables, rice, pasta, sauces etc to cook back at your apartment.
And, in Summer at least, closing time was very late.
Glad to find vegan protein (tofu, veggie grounds) and plant based milk here. I didn't see many frozen veggie options or any veggie cheese unfortunately
