The Whitewood Barn

We had our wedding at the Whitewood Barn on Friday, June 24, 2022 and it was the BEST decision ever. Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations in every way, Chris and Jeff (the venue owners) were also incredible from start to finish. I went to see the venue twice before booking and each time Chris welcomed us at the venue for as long as we wanted, answered all of our questions and talked us through how the day would look in great detail.

Leading up to the day, Chris was super responsive to emails and gave me recommendations on everything from vendors to timing of the day. All of her advice was super helpful and every single vendor that she recommended was awesome.

On our wedding day, Chris catered to us from the moment we showed up at the bridal suite. As an anxious person, I expected to be stressed all morning but Chris went out of her way to ensure I had all of my concerns answered and any lingering stresses were taken care of. At one point while we were having our hair and makeup done, Chris asked me if there was anything that was causing me anxiety. I told her two small things I was worried about and she told me she'd make sure they were taken care of. She even reported back to me to confirm when they were dealt with. P.S. The sun room that we were able to hang out in while getting ready is EVERYTHING. Such a beautiful, relaxing and comfortable space. Can I please live there?

Our ceremony time was scheduled for 3pm and at about 2:45pm, we found ourselves in a torrential downpour. Before I even had time to start to panic about missing out on the beautiful outdoor ceremony that I had envisioned, Chris came in and very confidently said: the ceremony will be pushed back a few minutes, the storm will blow over and it was still going to go ahead as planned. In the 15 minutes that followed, Chris and Jeff made sure our guests were taken care of and sheltered, monitored the weather apps and then dried off all of the seating when the rain cleared. Sure enough, the storm passed over, the sun peeked out and we had our outdoor ceremony complete with butterflies flying through the air, the smell of fresh rain and sunshine.

For dinner, we went with the in-house caterer, Kosmos Restaurant & Lounge. The food was fantastic and we had more than one person tell us that it was the best wedding dinner they'd had.

I truly can't say enough about how great Chris and Jeff were and how magical our day was. It was everything I could have hoped for and more! So glad we can start off our marriage with the picture-perfect wedding that we had imagined. Needless to say, highly recommend!

The Whitewood Barn is a stunning venue! But the owners - Chris and Jeff, are even more impressive. Due to COVID, we decided to postpone our wedding date. Chris and Jeff were very accommodating. Over our 2.5 year engagement, they were professional, organized, and always responded to our questions in a timely manner. On the day of, Chris sewed buttons onto guests jackets and sat with my grandma - she really did it all. They are so knowledgeable and made all our wedding dreams come true! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

The white wood barn might be the perfect spot to be married (in my completely unbiased opinion as the bride) the entire property is so well maintained, the attention to detail is like no other and Chris and her team are so fun and easy to work with - she will truly make your dreams come come true. She is responsive for any questions you have, her list of preferred vendors is amazing, and she will make your wedding day go as smooth as possible and take any stress away on the day of! Every single one of our guests came up to us and noted how incredibly beautiful this venue is and how perfect it was for us. It’s quiet, peaceful, and feels like home. I couldn’t imagine getting married in any other location. I love that the ceremony space and reception space are on the same property but while the wedding party is taking photos behind the house (unable to be seen by guests) guests can be on the large beautiful pergola/patio having drinks, playing games and just having the best time! I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding!! Thank you Chris!!

My son had his wedding at the Whitewood Barn on June 10, 2022. It was absolutely amazing. From the moment, the venue was booked last year, Chris and Jeff have been an invaluable source of information. They provide us with a list of recommended vendors. They made the whole experience a stress--free one. On the actual day of the event, Chris and Jeff couldn't do enough to make our event beyond special. They catered to our every need and we so appreciate it. We would highly recommend this venue. Thanks fpr everything Chris & Jeff!

Absolutely amazing experience at The Whitewood Barn. Chris and Jeff go above and beyond to make your day as special and seamless as possible. The entire experience dealing with Chris was so easy. She was always an email or phone call away for any sort of question or concern we had and she had an answer or solution to everything!
The day of the wedding was perfect. The entire property is absolutely stunning. You can tell hard work and love go into maintaining the property.
It’s such a wonderful venue to be able to have your ceremony and reception all in one. The ceremony site is BREATHTAKING and you won’t be able find something similar anywhere else! Your guests are taken care of during your pictures with the amazing outdoor games area and cocktail hour on the STUNNING patio. Every single one of our guests commented how amazing this venue was and we couldn’t agree more.
Chris made our big day so special by all the little and big things that she took care of behind the scenes, she has truly thought of everything.
