Cross Lake Provincial Park - Campground

Great campground and not too far from Edmonton for a short trip. Good fishing and nice little beach area. The only negative that they need to fix is the massive hornet nests by the dump station, so keep that in mind when you go.

Wow. Unexpected. Beautiful sites, capable of accommodating units larger than advertised. Many of the sites provide privacy. Nice clean washrooms, the whole campground is well maintained. Nice playgrounds for the kids. Only faults, power seems low, had to put fridge and water heater on propane to use a/c.

First time staying here. Sites are clean and good size. Well-maintained hiking trails. Only problem was the dump station: one dump hole had no cap and the other had a rock over it. Feel this is inadequate for the amount of use on a daily basis.

The sites were decent. Lots of room 2 people and a dog. Allowed dogs - but always had to be leashed and Couldn't go on the beach. Our dog does much better off leash and freaks out if we leave him so we couldnt go to the beach.
Great for kids - lots of paths for them to adventure and a park. Looked like the water was shallow for them to swim if not for the blue green algae.
We're pretty active, so we won't be back. But it was kept clean and was pretty quiet.

We just got back from a weekend trip what a great place certain areas are move private than others as expected! But he staff was great the beach was awesome! They had parks and beautiful trails! Cell service if you need it isn’t bad, there are certain sites that are dead zones but I had no issues at Site 14!
