Precon Manufacturing

I worked for a full year as a co-op student at Precon. It was hard work but one of the BEST experiences I had in university. I learned so much practical experience I have since been able to apply to my current career upon graduating.

I started out working in the shop learning the day to day tasks of employees. Once I gained enough knowledge and understanding of concrete production I was assigned a mentor and a concrete department of about 20 employees to manage. I had a great support structure to rely on! There was a steep learning curve however regular meetings with management and my mentor helped me succeed.

One thing I valued most was the trust and independence I was granted. I was given a great deal of responsibility which made me feel a valued member of the team.

I enjoyed the position so much that I returned during summers and part time during the remainder of my time in university.

I really want to thank everyone at Precon for a job well done! Product quality is 1st class and the people at Precon truly go above and beyond to deliver an amazing customer experience. I highly recommend them and will continue to work with them on future projects.

Over the past year I’ve had the pleasure of working with the HR personnel at Precon. They show a genuine desire to connect with the people they work with and make the operation one that supports employees. It Is clear that the company strives to be a leader in their field while prioritizing the people that make up the organization.

As an employee of Precon for over a decade, I can say that Precon is a great place to work and they treat their employees with utmost respect. They go above and beyond for their employees. Everyday perks that I'm grateful for and everyone should be.

Precon has the BEST looking Precast product in western Canada hands down! Our quality exceeds anything I've seen from any of our competitors. EVERYONE who is part of our operation should be proud!
