Excellent flight school with amazing staff and aircraft. Planes were in great shape with such knowledgeable instructors which focused on every key part of the training. Overall an amazing experience.

I did my PPL, CPL, and Multi IFR at Excel, moved from Calgary to Lethbridge and it was absolutely worth it.

2: well maintained aircrafts, I cannot stress this enough
3: significantly more affordable compared to other flight schools
4: Recognized by the government for student loans.
5: low wait time on the ground, compared to other airports in the region you will get a lot more air time for the money you pay.

I completed my CPL multi-IFR here I would say it is the best place I have been in learning fly. everybody here is friendly and helpful. from the instructor to the AMEs, From the FSS to the ramp workers. You will never regret your choice here. The owner here is a Transport Canada examiner as well. So that you don’t need to worry about your quality of instructions. The airport itself has two crossing runways, Equipped with every instrument approach you need to learn. A FSS station in location means you can learn how to talk with ATC’s without busy traffic situations.

Did my PPL, night and multi-engine ratings with Excel, as well as part of my instrument rating. All the instructors were both friendly and professional, and I would happily do more training with them if I we’re still in Lethbridge!
