Beautiful 1.5 km loop through the rolling hills. There are two stations with dog bags and garbages, several benches to rest on and even a water fountain for the pups.
It s incredible. Goes for a few miles. You get to see the troughs, valkeys, badlands whatever you wanna call it. Dog park, there s a trail and lot of people come here to see the sunset.
It's the best off leash dog run in Lethbridge in my humble opinion! 🤓 Highly recommend if you want somewhere to run the pooch, without getting them wet or muddy. No access to the river at this park, but it has great trails, and epic views! Appropriate footwear is a must, and water is helpful too. It gets hot down there! It's a desert... 🤔 DUH! 😉 Also... HILLS!! It's a GREAT workout for you and your furry friends!
The dogs really love this park because of the trails and hills to climb. Even with a 65 km wind, you can walk in the gully. Just be mindful of your dog and the people around. I watched an excited lab run over a little girl walking with a shaggy dog and then take the knees out from under another lady walking her lab. The guy that owned the dog did apologize to the girl and other lady.
Beautiful of leash park with lots of alternative path options if your willing to leave the rock path. Sunsets and sun rises are incredibly here with lots of perfectly placed benches. There are only two garbages up at the very top which is slightly inconvenient. Users are fairly diligent at cleaning up after dogs, courteous in greetings as well as some even fill water bowls at the top . Terrain is decent most of the time though it get get muddy at the bottom and have icy patches at times so requires some balance and stability as well as stamina as this park provides some extra physical training with portion of trail in the bottom of coulee.
