This was our first stop here and it was lovely. The staff is very friendly and the food is DELICIOUS. I ordered a BLT and it was the best that I have had in years. They also gave a wonderful assortment of pies and desserts. Definitely a place to stop in and have a bite!!!
Nice small cafe and gift shop with a lot of unique items. The food served, felt like being served by grandma herself. So much love and affection in a restaurant was a very different feeling. Baba came herself and asked how are things and how the food quality was. She is amazingly kind and polite and loving. Will visit this place again when ever we are in Mundare again.
Loved the food and the owner( Baba) was very freindly and talkative.
Unique atmosphere in a little small town dining place in Mundare, Alberta. We had the perogy plate which included perogies with butter sautéed onions and bacon bits, three small pieces of kobasa (Ukrainian style garlic sausage), and a serving of homemade coleslaw which was very good. Excellent meal for those who like Ukrainian food, served at a small number of tables in a shop with numerous examples of antiques and handcrafted items and products. A different dining experience and one I thoroughly enjoyed. And homemade pie was our meal topper. Hope this place survives this latest round of Covid19 lockdowns. The staff here are wonderful and friendly. I would hate to see this business disappear.
Wow what a great little gem we stumbled upon. Such welcoming energy and warm greetings. Followed up by the best Ukrainian food ever! Homeade perogies were spot on and the sausage links from local Mundare sausage were great. Loved it.
