3 Painted Ponies

I was invited to an Equine Assisted Learning workshop featuring Pretty as a Picture Photography and I highly recommend it for all women who are looking to learn or strengthen communication skills with the help of beautiful horses and connect with themselves and others through journaling and light boudoir.

Anne is passionate about the therapy and emotional assistance horses can provide. Emma is a self-love advocate who promotes community. They are an obvious choice for collaboration and attendees are the benefactors!

When Anne and Emma invited me to attend their first women's equine empowerment workshop, I didn't know exactly what to expect, but I was definitely excited and they didn't disappoint. I had a wonderful afternoon with some amazing ladies and horses while learning a few things and doing some self-reflecting. We were also served a delicious lunch from Aunt Dee's and did a mini photo shoot to top it all off. Such a nice afternoon and I definitely recommend taking part in their next workshop.

I attended a Women’s Empowerment EAL ( equine assisted learning) event hosted by Anne at 3 Painted Ponies. This event was incredible!!! Anne briefed us about working with horses and safety, then put us into small groups to work with the horses. We had to work as a team along with our horse to figure out obstacles. It was amazing how connected you feel to your horse and the trust you gain with it and your group. We then had a with a wonderful ( healthy and fresh) lunch, followed by some time to do some journaling about the things we learned about ourselves during the EAL session!

We then were welcomed to have our photo taken by Emma at Pretty As A picture. For someone who prefers to be behind a camera, Emma made me feel comfortable, confident and beautiful! A perfect fit with the Women’s Empowerment Event!

There were a lot of laughs and definitely a great time! I became fast friends with this wonderful group of women! You could tell that Anne truly loves what she does, and I would highly recommend her and 3 Painted Ponies for date nights or group events!

I recently attended Pretty as a Picture and 3 Painted Ponies Equine Empowerment Workshop and if you want a day out, need a confidence boost, or want to improve your self love, I highly recommend!
I did not know what to really expect going into it, as I was not aware of what equine assisted learning was, but The day was definitely a lot of fun. It started out with a safety briefing and introduction where we met the other ladies and the horses we would be working with. Anne gave a great introduction to equine assisted learning and what the benefits of it are, and we teamed up and started the workshop. It was a great way to work on self improvement with communication and have some fun. The horses were great to work with and there was lots of laughs to go around. Anne provided encouragement when needed and finished off the session with thoughtful insight about the exercises.
Lunch was provided and we all took a much needed break, then Emma from Pretty as a Picture gave us our journaling exercises and we had plenty of options for where we enjoyed sitting to reflect (and chat). Emma is amazing at making you feel confident and beautiful during the mini photoshoot, and you walk away feeling so relaxed and confident from the day. Highly recommend for any ladies looking for a day out, and self love boost, or who want to work on themselves in a warm and welcoming environment.
