A little story: When I first got my dog (Booker) he had medium size scratches on his ears. As he got older it started getting worse. I lived in Calgary at the time and I went to multiple vet clinics and they looked at him and all said "I don't know what this is" spewed off some medical terms that didn't mean anything to me and prescribed some topical steroid. I tried it but it did not seem to work it was just a temporary fix. I assumed that this was just how it was going to be so when I moved to red deer area I took Booker to see Dr. Scheck and he scraped a tiny sample from his ear and examined it to see what it actually was and prescribed medication as well as a topical ointment and it cleared up right away and it never came back. My dog will always have scars on his ears but the infection disappeared. It is the extra step that he took that I appreciate the most! Today, I took my dog in cause he has been excessively licking at his one foot and it looked different to me... Dr. Scheck looked at his foot and pulled something out...examined it...came back and said he was okay but that under his nail did seem dry and he wants me to use a topical cream on it cause antibiotics are not necessary at this point but if it progresses and doesn't get better then come back in, etc... Sorry for the long story but overall I appreciate the extra step they take there and everyone there is very kind from the moment you call to make the appointment to moment you walk out their doors with a happier pet! I Highly recommend this clinic. The staff are amazing, and the service is fantastic. It is apparent that they are genuinely compassionate about each and every animal they care for. They are also very reasonably priced for their services. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Antler Hill is a true gem of a vet's office. They go above and beyond and we will be eternally grateful for the care and compassion they've shown us and our beloved pets. Best family environment for your pets to be treated at. Dr. Ritson Bennett treated my previously animals and I have recently moved but now commute to seek care for my current dog at their clinic.

Both vets I have dealt with and they are highly knowledgeable. As well they are just all around great people.
