Darcie is such a phenomenal wedding planner. I had to plan my wedding in less than six months in the pandemic, and she was able to guide me through planning the wedding of my dreams. Darcie was dedicated to the conversations during our phone call meetings and easy to contact when I needed advice. On the day, she and her team were outstanding. They worked out all the minor bugs without fault. She is a true professional and very knowledgeable of the wedding business. I would highly recommend her for any size of wedding. When I look back on my special day, it was stress-free, and Darcie was a substantial contributing factor that made this so.

Darcie is a god send. We hired her after our destination wedding fell through last summer because of the pandemic. We opted for a beautiful venue in Sylvan Lake and the owners of the venue highly recommended Darcie as our wedding planner. It was no brainer for us to hire one considering all the changes and the headache we experienced with our last wedding plans falling through. But little did we know she would exceed our expectations completely!!! She’s super attentive to detail, responds timely to any questions or requests, and has such a bubbly and warm personality that immediately makes you feel comforted. Anyone in the Red Deer/ Sylvan Lake or anywhere in Alberta should really consider having Darcie on their team! After the last restrictions imposed on Alberta, our Sylvan lake venue cancelled our wedding due for 2 weeks, but Darcie took control! She eased our worries, found us another venue, in Banff at the Fairmont and it worked out even better than expected! She worked her magic and made the whole day so seamless and beautiful. I can honestly say, we would have never had such a beautiful day and our dream wedding had it not been for Darcie. She goes above and beyond for her clients, from being hands on with decor, finding our commissioner, ensuring all guests and vendors knew where and when to be, holding my wedding dress train, bringing water bottles, snacks, champagne. She was our Go-To person during the day and she brought it! At times it felt like she was at two places at once, that’s how good she is!! We will never forget her and can never thank her enough for making our day so magical!!

When my husband and I were planning our wedding (before covid) a wedding planner was the farthest thing from our budget. Due to covid we decided to elope which freed up money for things we didn’t consider before. If I had to go back and plan a big wedding... I would MAKE room financially to be able to have Darcie on our big day. She was absolutely incredible! She took my short notice and all my visions and made them into the most amazing elopement. When I say I had zero stress on our big day.. I mean I had ZERO stress. This woman is insane in the best way. She takes care of literally everything and manages to also remember the small details that most people forget about. Not only was she present through email and text all the time while planning, she also contacted me a month or two after the wedding to make sure I was happy with my photos and how everything had turned out.
One thing I was worried about was her being supper uptight because of having to plan literally everything, but I’ve honestly made a friend out of this whole experience. She is so down to earth and I will never stop recommending her to my friends and to strangers. 15/10 - absolutely worth the extra money. So if your unsure if you want a planner... trust me you want Darcie!
