Meals on Wheels has been the answer to my prayers. I have been struggling so much for years with maintaining a healthy diet each day due to an eating disorder that I can't afford help for. Both my physical and mental health were declining as a result. Having a healthy meal delivered to my door each day eliminates the stress of- meal planning, grocery shopping (I cant drive), eating healthy, dishes, spending too much money, food prep, and time management. When my PTSD is very badly triggered, I can hardly manage to cook a simple meal and the thought of having to do it anyways can be paralyzing. Many times I have just gone hungry or just ate no effort junk food instead which has resulted in physical illness. I signed up for Meals on Wheels after a particularly traumatic event last month, and I feel much more mentally stable than I expected by now. And I know that it's because I've had a good healthy meal every day since then. I have more time and energy to keep my house clean and I don't have that ever-looming dread of having to cook every day that once plagued me and was a massive weight on my shoulders. All the delivery drivers are so kind too and Louise is great! Thank you all so much! I must also rant and rave about how delicious all the food is!!!!!!!! It's seriously way tastier and much more satisfying than take out or delivery! 11/10 recommend this service 😇
