Prairie Gold Pastured Meats

I couldn't be more pleased with my herd share through Prairie Gold. Blake has been so easy to deal with and the product is exceptional. The fact that I was able to spread the cost out over the summer months with their easy to sign up for payment plan made it impossible for me to say no. I will absolutely support them in future seasons; the roast I made for Thanksgiving tasted better than any restaurant and that is thanks to Prairie Gold's amazing care and attention they put into their beef.

Raised naturally and you can tell. This is what sustainable agriculture is all about - uncrowded cattle raised on grass resulting in delicious, healthy, wholesome beef. And the best darned wieners ever!

Prairie Gold Meats cattle are purely grass fed and that's what I look for. Blake keeps us abreast of how the herd is doing during the summer, when our meat will be ready for pickup , and where. He even provides a recipe book to give us an idea of how to cook the different cuts of meat. Sausages, liver and soup bones are also available. I am a very satisfied customer for 2 years in a row.

I have had a beef share with Prairie Gold Meats for the last few years, and have never had better beef. The beef shares are amazing and you get a lot of different cuts you may not normally get to try from your local supermarket. On top of that, the cattle is treated very well and fed superbly so the omega ratios in the beef are much closer together which is very important when sourcing your meat. The customer service I have received from the owners has been above and beyond each time and I highly recommend their level of service and all of their products.
