We have used Nordic Mechanical since our facility opened and have always had prompt and quality support. Darren is our most common face at the Centre and has always provided excellent service and great communication. Today no only did he provide great assistance with the heating issues that came up in this intense cold snap, but he went so far above and beyond to help me out that I would love to share my experience.
My car died at home in Sylvan Lake..it was boosted, got to the facility and it died again. On top of the facility issues and furnace issues at home, I was at my breaking point and truly on the verge of tears. Here were my four administrative staff huddled around my car in minus 40 reading printed instructions to boost a car ( not my finest moment) when Darren pulled up to respond to the facility needs. He jumped out and offered to help us without hesitation. Got my car started and realized I was going to need to replace the battery to get home safe. I was trying to figure out rides, towing, vehicle issues between critical meetings and totally overwhelmed. I thought I might be sleeping at work without a ride back to my out of town home. Darren finished his repair work and stopped to ask me if he could help me replace my battery. He grabbed a battery and installed it in less time than I could even book a tow truck. He was so pleasant and happy to help me in minus 40 with something that was overwhelming for me.
While this gesture was extremely considerate and kind on a warm day, the additional time he spent outside in minus 40 truly blew me away. It was a game changer for me and my team personally and exemplified the service orientation we have come to expect from our interactions with Nordic. As a contractor and as a human being, Darren has been amazing for me here at this facility and continues to make me very thankful for the relationship our organization has with this company and with this amazing human being.
