Twisted Steel Blacksmithing

What an excellent day this was for me and my two grandsons. Nick and Julia led us through all steps of knife-making and were there to step in if we needed a helping hand. Short lessons preceeded every step of the process, from metallurgy to temporing steel, to sharpening and making a handle from a selection of fine hardwoods. All this plus lunch and refreshments. I highly recommend this day.

Just finished a full day knife making course. Nick and Julia are knowledgeable and excellent instructors. I came away with tons of new learning and a full on chefs knife I'll be using all the time. Thank you Twisted Steel.

We had a very enjoyable day , I personally created a Bowie knife. The quality and the final product far exceeded my expectations.
The instruction and the facilities including equipment were exceptional. Our home made lunch was first rate. Excellent experience highly recommended.

This is truly a great experience!! Thoroughly enjoyed the day and was very surprised with how the end product turned out (incredible), but that's thanks in huge part to the crew at Twisted Steel. Their process, assistance and coaching is the difference. There was not one amateur looking knife in our group at the end of the day! Thank you to Nick, Shelly, Jody and Julia for this very unique and enjoyable day! It was awesome and HIGHLY recommend this!! Will be back!
