Havilah Heger Photography

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Havilah! I was being very picky about wedding photographers because I wanted someone who wouldn’t only take beautiful photos but also capture exactly how our day was! And that’s exactly what Havilah did! When I look back on these photos I am completely taken back to that amazing day! She made us feel so comfortable (even when we didn’t think we would be haha)! It was such an awesome experience and I’m so grateful for the photos she has given us! I would 100% recommend her to anyone who’s looking to get photos done for absolutely anything!

Our engagement photo experience with Havilah was outstanding! She truly goes the extra mile through her communication and collaboration to bring your ideas to life. Most importantly, she makes the experience feel natural and stress free. This was our first time having professional photos taken so we were a little nervous, but Havie put us at ease immediately. She has a true talent for capturing all the special moments that create those lifelong memories. It was a pleasure working with Havilah. We wouldn’t hesitate to again or recommend her to our friends and family. Her work speaks for itself!

Havilah is a wonderful person - easily the best experience my partner and I have had with a photographer to date.

Being so close to the Rockies, my issue with lots of photographers nowadays is that they tend to rely so much on the beauty of the mountains that they fail to capture the beautiful moments of their subjects. This is not the case with Havilah though.

She is super creative and will make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Super easy to work with and has an extremely personable attitude.

We definitely love how our engagement photos turned out, and I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Not to be dramatic, but Havilah made me excited for my wedding.

We had set a date initially that was postponed due to the pandemic. So, all of the stress and planning that went into one day, was now transferred to another date a year later. We were able to transfer all of our vendors with little to no issue, so we thought things would be okay. By this point in planning, I can honestly say I was just ready for it to be over with, I really wasn’t feeling the excitement that most brides experience and I just wanted it to be done. About 6 weeks prior to our day, our existing photographer told us that they had booked an international wedding which was taking place the week before our Saturday wedding. They said they hoped they would be back in time, as their flight came in on Friday evening, but they essentially couldn’t guarantee it. After some back and forth, we decided it would be best to terminate our agreement, as we felt we couldn’t trust them to provide the service they had promised.

So, about 6 weeks before our wedding, we had no photographer. Through friends and family, we were provided with a list of photographers to contact, and with a “fingers crossed” attitude we reached out to several. I was already so done with the whole experience; I was legitimately considering cancelling the day. The last thing I wanted was to go through the vendor vetting process again, so close to the day (not to mention, I’m a full-time student and this was all occurring during my final exams).

My now-husband reached out to Havilah and got the most pleasant, high-energy response. On the phone Havilah was so professional and kind, and she immediately put me at ease. For the first time in about a year, I wasn’t dreading my wedding! For the few weeks leading up to the wedding Havilah was readily available to help us with all of our concerns regarding timing and logistics; she offered suggestions on locations, and was very flexible in helping us plan our day.

On the day of the wedding, we met at the location which she had suggested, and were blown away by how perfect it was. It was exactly what we had envisioned! Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but Havilah helped us to relax and have fun being in the moment with each other and our guests. Havilah made sure we got everything we wanted in our time together, and really made us feel special.

Havilah was such a pleasure to work with, so much so that something I was really apprehensive about has become one of my most cherished memories. Her kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm made our day amazing, and the photos we’ve received thus far are stunning! I am so, so, so glad to have had a mishap with our first photographer, because without that we never would have had the chance to work with her!

It was such a pleasure working with Havilah! My fiance and I met out west. Some of our favorite memories are being out in the mountains together so when it came time to pick a location for our e-shoot we knew we had to go back to where it all began!

There was something that drew us to Havilah's work - one her work is stunning and two we loved her energy! We were both sooo nervous to be in front of the camera but Havilah made us feel so relaxed and even made us forget she was there taking pictures!

Honestly it's more than just pictures when you go with Havilah, it's a whole experience, a day we will both look back on and cherish for the years to come! It was the perfect way to kick off the wedding festivities. The only problem is we love all the pictures and don't know which ones to print. Lol! Thanks again Havilah for the most magical day!
