One of my all time favorite places. There isn't much there and it has spotty cell coverage, but it's so incredibly peaceful.
Excellent birding there.
Bring your own water. No drinking water available.
Went to take a look. It is not a place to go to enjoy the beach or water. It's a place for waterfowl and possibly fish. There were people camped but the smell from the lake was too much to ever consider staying there. A little gem from a distance though.
The lake is shallow and with a little algae, but it was so nice to swim and walk around there. The camping site is decorated by the local community to create a cozy atmosphere. There is a nice playground for children. The whole area is ennobled by residents who own a combo by the lake
Back road to a Lake with sand ..very surprised lots of beach avail and some ppl in water water was relatively warm..ish
Tent,rv area and small park toilets . All good I think its 15 a night
It depends what you are looking for...this could be heaven for those who want quiet, simple and out of the way spot. It is the simplest provincial park I have ever been to. It has a small- maybe 5 campsites? A handful of picnic tables and a swing set with 2 swings. Outhouses on site, I suspect they had running water with size but not positive. There was a water pump on site. There is a lake that would be fun with a small boat. I did see a primitive boat launch area. Small "beach" area with small, nearly sand pebbles. If you want a park with more amenities or just more, this is not for you. It was a fun find for us on a warm & windy day but I would only go back if it was a need to be in a rustic and primitive place.
