I was referred to Dr. Ekert for a number of issues I was having with 3 of my lower body joints. From first interaction I have found him to be very accommodating, patient, and incredibly helpful. I have undergone three separate surgeries and each time he took the time to answer any and all of my questions. He always explains everything so that you completely understand. From our first in office meeting to subsequent phone calls, or fitting me in to address any concerns I had…. he was never impatient or rude or demeaning. He is also a straight shooter and doesn’t sugar coat. He will be direct about your issues and frankly I find this valuable when it comes to my health. Meeting before surgery he was laser focused and takes time to make sure everything is being thoroughly followed. His office assistant Judith is a VERY kind, and a very professional lady as well. She would get back to me very quickly any time I sent an email or called to leave a message or ask a question. I felt like I was speaking with a family member every time I talked with her. Both people are incredibly professional and kind. This is a hard combination to find in the medical community sometimes. Dr. Ekert is a phenomenal fellowship trained surgeon and I would absolutely recommend him hands down. I am grateful to have had him take care of me.
