Drumheller Municipal Airport (CEG4)

Very welcoming airport manager Pat and Unicom operations Cathy. Felt taken care of..Cathy drove us (party of 8=2 trips) out to Royal Tyrell..fuel available 24/7, beautifully maintained FBO, nice parking space with tie down weights, clean washrooms. Looking forward to next visit!

Best Airport I’ve been to in Canada! Airport Manager came out to help us push our planes in, and they actually have great tie downs which is not common. They were so kind and even gave us a ride to the Museum. The airport is adding lots of infrastructure including new lights and pavement, plus they have the cheapest gas in Alberta.

Great location to fly to. Runway surface is in good shape, easy to access tie downs, and there is a club house/terminal building to complete flight planning. The terminal also has washrooms and a pay phone. Drumheller has plenty to see and do, the only issue is the distance from the strip. I had to use a taxi to travel into town. Other than that, I would strongly recommend flying to Drumheller.

Paved runway, north/south. Close to the Royal Tyrell Museum. Beautiful country to fly around.
