Birchwood Meadows

I spent a lovely hour visiting the garden with a dear friend. We both enjoyed learning about flowers that we had not seen before. In particular, an unusual flower ( bell shaped and bi colored) with interesting leaves. Don't let the name mislead you, Honeywort is pretty and I hope to grow some in my diverse garden. The family and staff who share their garden of eden are kind and helpful. The gift shop has well priced treasures. Well worth a visit. Thank you Birch Meadows!

The options for the u-pick flowers were a bit limited due to flowers either not being ready or being almost done blooming. Prices per stem were also a little high and it took no time to reach the $15 minimum. Despite this, it was a fun experience

I had such a fun time! We were there for a floral arrangement workshop today for a birthday celebration. We picked our own flowers and greens and created my masterpiece in the picture. Not really a masterpiece...but it was a unique experience that you should try.
