Susans Rosewood Cafe and Country Store

My husband and I stopped here and got a hot drink and the ham and potato soup and a few other things. Everything was excellent, but wow the soup was amazing!! Would for sure go out of our way to stop in again!

Family friendly very nice people. The atmosphere is amazing and welcoming.

Delicious and fresh bakery items! Must stop on the way past Hays.

Love our little small town grocery store but would like to see more grocery items so we could support our local business.
That being said, we appreciate what they do have in stock as well as their homemade fresh baked goods!
The folks that run the store are awesome, friendly and keep their store organized, tidy and clean.

This is basically a very plain country store with a few basics and a little espresso machine. Suzy is the owner and she keeps it pretty simple. She’s no hipster coffee expert trying to to be Starbucks on the prairie. What she is.. is a friendly Mennonite lady that makes a mean espresso. I judge a place on its espresso as that’s where it all starts. When I dropped in she was visiting with her sister Sarah and they were entertaining Sarah’s baby. Pure family atmosphere. I didn’t notice and seats or table but I was there for the coffee.

Oh yeah… the coffee. I won’t say what I laid because I told Suzy to raise the price. I enjoyed a shot that kept up to the expensive big city shot that I had earlier today in Calgary.

Basic shop. Outstanding espresso. Visit Suzy. She’s shy at first but after a few moments she all friendly real deal Mennonite just like the one that I married.
