Sandstone Motel

Great motel in a great little town. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfy. They have pet friendly rooms which is a bonus. The restaurant food is exceptional and the staff are so nice.

Older motel that has been maintained. Basic, clean and quiet room with very comfortable bed. Attached restaurant has a nice menu. Would definitely stay here again.

Came to Canada from Montana to get my global entry and stopped here for a couple drinks and some food. Small town, not very busy. We ordered the pizza and some kokanees. Fantastic service, very friendly waitress! I am super picky about pizza and the pictures on the menu do NOT give it justice. We ordered a pepperoni and it was FANTASTIC. I’ve eaten pizza all over the world and I would say it was in my top 20 favorites I’ve ever had. Cute little place in a small town, great service, and good food. Haven’t had the dessert yet but I’m sure it will be amazing!

I want to love this place but it has a few pitfalls. The rooms are big and the beds/bedding is comfy and clean. If in S. Alberta this is a great choice. Downside...no staff on site in the evenings or early morning. No coffee/water at entrance. Power went out when trying to make coffee in the room and for a whole hour there was no one there to assist. The wifi is spotty at best... could not hold a connection. This was problematic for remote working. It is nice there is a bar/restaurant attached. I would stay again for work as it is a great option for the area despite the pitfalls.

The room as well equipped as in a 3 star hotel. Nice, spacious and clean rooms. The motel is easy to find from the highway.
Only the breakfast is missing, for this price it could have been included.
