Strathmore Stampede Grounds

Amazing Chuck Wagon races and Rodeo shows, great displays of skill, both man and horse. Lots of food too. Only disappointment is there isn't much for kids to do, no rides and such.

If you're from Alberta, then you know this is the second greatest outdoor show on earth! And if you don't like the crowds of the Stampede then this is your rodeo. Amazing riders and the people that work or volunteer for this event are the kindest and friendliest people.

Bring cash ! The place is great, security is everywhere and very quick to react. The volunteers and workers are proactive and so kind. Very family friendly. Loved the rodeo show, the commentator and the crowd. It was a great introduction to rodeo.

Summer 2022 : same review, less attractions for the kids this time but still a great place to be.

Rodeo and Chuckwagons didn't disappoint. We had a great time! Only one issue - we had a difficult time finding our seats and were bumped around. We appreciated those who were so kind to direct us. Only one shaming incident where we were told to "get out", but we won't hold that against them. This Stampede is highly recommended.
