Wheatland Equestrian

I’ve been a horse owner for over 25 years and have boarded at a handful of facilities but Wheatland hands down has been one of if not the very best! Heather goes above and beyond for her boarders! She treats each horse as if they are her own and always communicates openly. I moved to Wheatland almost a year ago from a facility that truly abused my horses where one ended up with a fractured jaw, skinny, starving, and would have colic episodes at least once a month if not more. Within a short 2 months at Wheatland, he put all his weight back on plus more, hasn’t had a single colic episode and is happy. He was a nervous wreck and to be told that he’s turned into a cool dude where a 10 year old can turn him in and out makes my heart so happy. I wish I found Wheatland years ago! I 1000% trust and recommend Wheatland. The facility is very clean, pricing is very fair and very transparent, horses fed ample good quality hay 3-4 times a day, and many options for trainers on site or bring your own qualified coach since Heathers focus is stable management and horse care. I can sleep at night knowing my horses are safe and well taken care of. Can’t thank the owners enough!

When my old barn had a strangles outbreak Heather didn't have to provide the hay for my two horses but she did anyway. When I moved to Wheatland breezin settled in just fine. Our riding capabilities have gotten better with Heather help, lending me her western saddle when she didn't have to when i had to sell mine due to not fitting my horse. and providing me with a new English saddle when she knew I was looking for a new one.

She takes care of the horses like they are her own, feeds them and feeds them feed and blankets as well. The place is well taken care for and always clean.

There is always coaches at the barn for people wanting or needing help with lessons.

I will always recommend this barn for how good it is and you pay good to been In a great facility. Heather even goes beyond and forth when she doesn't have to. But she makes her boarders are happy and there horses are as well.

I had my horse at this facility 12 years ago. Only moved to pursue training in our specific sport. Now we are back at Wheatland for a few years. The care and the people are as amazing now as they were 12 years ago. Knowledgeable owner who always goes the extra mile. Hands on and caring. Wonderful multi-discipline facility. English coach on site, or boarder can have their own certified coaches come and give them lessons. Well maintained indoor and outdoor arenas, and loads of trails around the property for year round outdoor riding. I cannot say enough good things about Heather and Jesse, and the care that they give the horses.

This is an absolute fabulous place to board your horses!!! I’ve boarded at a few different barns in Ontario and Alberta and the care here is unmatched. My horses (I currently have 4) are fed excellent quality hay and grain, have well maintained paddocks and have a lovely clean barn and arena. Don’t think I could say enough good things about the owners and the boarders. I bought a new horse a couple years ago and it turned out she was pregnant (surprise!!) and Heather went above and beyond to accommodate my mare and her every need throughout the pregnancy and birth of the colt. She checked on her every two hours when it was close to her giving birth. Not sure how many facilities let alone people would have done that. Such a friendly atmosphere to learn and grow with your horse!!

I have got to say that this is by far one of the best equestrian facilities that I have ever had my horses at. I've been in this industry all of my life and the care, experience, and knowledge here is just amazing! Fabulous facility, unbelievable care of the horses and just a ton of knowledge from the owners!
