The Igloo is iconic and for food reason. They were not serving inside, so it was a burger at the picnic tables outside instead. I hope they return to indoor service. No washrooms. The burger was tasty and decent quality. Support local.
Quintessential small town burger joint. I had the Igloo Special Burger, which was outstanding with combination of the clearly made-in-house patty, sauteed mushrooms and onions, and their special sauce. Fries were pretty standard, and my chai milkshake was good. Service was friendly and the overall vibe was pretty cute. I went there on a cold rainy day but I suspect this would be quite the destination on a nice day.
I've been here many times and there are things to love and like about this place. This time (has there been a change in management?) we had to order outside, they are not allowing indoor seating. The price seemed higher than expected and for what we got. The curley fries and pepperoni pizza were hot and delicious. We ordered 2 mushroom swiss burgers and received only one and a bacon cheeseburger. We didn't notice until we were driving away. Two of our milkshakes were really good but one didn't taste anything like the flavor ordered and it had little ice crystals, it wasn't smooth at all. A bit disappointed with our order overall. It was good, but it could have been better.
Nice little drive up, take out food stop. Lots of choices on the ice cream and milkshake menu. Family order of fries is a great idea. Wife and I had the hot dog, chicken strips and family curly fries. More than enough for the two of us. My grandmother used to bring me here 30 years ago for ice cream when I stayed with her. New owners now but he's making it great again.
The food here is a great price, and my boyfriend swears that they have the best fast food burgers he's ever had. Service is fast, kind, and they have lots of options in case you're picky like me ;)
Pizza's are okay, milkshakes are great. Hope everyone can stop by this drive in and enjoy it with their families!
Prices off the top of my head are $5-7 for a burger, $7-16 for a pizza (based on size), and $8 for a milkshake.
