Loree Photography's elopement company, Shotgun Weddings, gave us so much joy in a year where joy was severely lacking. After having to postpone our 200 person wedding, my (now) husband and I knew we still wanted to get married on our original date. We had always said that we would have loved to elope to the mountains and Lori and Shotgun Weddings made that dream come true.
From the moment we met Lori over Zoom, she was kind, understanding, and completely upfront and realistic about what our elopement would look like with even the strictest Covid restrictions. I am a very Type-A, neurotic personality and Lori was able to completely put me at ease. Not only did she respond quickly and in meticulous detail, but she was also great about keeping us up to date on the restrictions in Alberta since we were coming in from out of province. We had many questions about adding on several services throughout the planning process and she answered and ultimately added them without hesitation as soon as we confirmed we wanted it. We received a final agenda well in advance that was extremely detailed and made my type-A heart sing.
On the day of, her team was exceptional. Shelby and Sara were on time, professional, and SO FUN! We had so much fun and felt so comfortable with them and it showed in our photos and videos. Sara was totally on the ball and went above and beyond with accommodating our requests (like having music ready for a first dance). Shelby understood exactly what we wanted with our photos and she delivered. She put us at ease and gave us direction while still letting us be ourselves. The photos were absolutely stunning and we've been told by multiple people that they're the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen.
Allison, our officiant, did a wonderful job and managed to put together a ceremony that was so perfect for us and was meticulously organized when it came to the necessary paperwork.
This is the longest review I think I've ever written but there is truly no more deserving company. We could never thank you enough for giving us the most incredible day.

My husband and I had an AMAZING experience with Lori who did our elopement photos. She has outstanding communication skills and our experience with Shotgun Weddings was awesome. Loree set up almost everything, gave great advice as we prepared for our big day, and gave us sneak peeks almost instantly. The photos are absolutely stunning and I'm so happy she helped us with our special day!

We had Loree Photography do our wedding photos through Shotgun Wedding and it was such a privilege. We were able to be present in the moment as she guided us through the gardens for photos, so it made for an all around great experience!

Our experience with Loree Photography could not have been better. With no meeting and only email communication prior to our wedding, Shelby, an associate photographer, managed to capture amazing photos and made us relax immediately in front of the camera. From the detailed questionnaire to the end of the reception, there was always great communication with either Lori or Shelby. She was also able to recommend amazing locations for photos. I have no hesitation in recommending Loree Photography and will definitely be using their services again!

Lori did our wedding and engagement pictures and we loved how they turned out!! She is so awesome to work with. She makes you feel comfortable and makes you laugh the whole time. And anyone who wants to talk about cows and farming while you get your pictures taken, I would absolutely recommend her!!
