“So I rented the room that had a 1 bedroom unit style apartment ($1400) a month. They approved me for having a cat. $250 deposit. The whole property is very safe. Very clean. No problems. I like It here. Next time I'm in town for work I will be staying here again. My unit came with a full kitchen, 55 inch TV, a mostly up to date bathroom. And many more things that make this motel stand out from all the others in town”

“The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming at check in. When we checked in, a couple of teenagers walked by, when we drove away I noticed they immediately walked back to my room and I saw them looking in the windows - thankfully I closed the blinds b4 i left. (This isn't the hotel's fault) Room was quaint. Not very sound proof. Light was burnt out. Bathroom was kinda dirty and there were no towels. But that's ok- we made it work!”

“After a long day of driving, it was wonderful to arrive at Sunset Motel. My sister and I were impressed by how clean and comfortable our room was…actually 2 rooms with adjoining bathroom. The price was right, included light continental breakfast and was quiet. Sunny was friendly and helpful.”

“We had a really good experience at this motel. We were warmly welcomed by the owner even though we got in late for our stay. Initially, from the exterior it looks like not a quality place. We walked in to see a well furnished room with all of the amenities you would need like coffee maker, a microwave, refrigerator, and other kitchen supplies for a DIY breakfast. There is a neutral smell in the place which is always positive. TV and WiFi are also available but had difficulty getting the WiFi to work. If you are 45 minutes north of the border and need a place to stay, this place is a great value for your money.”

“Stopped in on our way through town for a beer on a Sunday drive. It's a typical quaint small town prairie bar that every small town used to have. Feelings of nostalgia flooded over me looking over at the table of old men in plaid shirts & suspenders quietly sitting there passing the time of day. The beer was cheap & cold, the food was very affordable & tasty. I highly recommend stopping in for both when you're passing thru town.”

“Gorgeous campground that feels more like a park than a campground. Super large sites at the river and the grounds are immaculate. Only issue I had was with the power. My EMS disconnected if I tried to use 2 devices at once, which I do everywhere without problem. EMS shows 108V at only 16Amps. Not enough to remove a star but someone may have a problem.”
