I am an Electronics Engineering student living in the Philippines and my group mates and I are finishing our thesis study and we needed their actuators for our prototype. Actuonix Motion Devices has been one of the most helpful companies I've interacted with while looking for parts for our prototype. We are a design team that builds and races a submarine and have been using the mini feedback actuator on our project for a couple of years now. Actuonix products and customer service have treated us well. The actuators we have are easy for us to waterproof and use underwater, so they should be even easier for anyone else to use on land. Programming them is really easy too. We use Arduino and an H-bridge to control their motion.

We use Actuonix Linear Actuators as the parachute release mechanism for the parachutes of a 30kg sounding rocket. As you can imagine, reliability of the mechanism is extremely critical. We have conducted many tests, including a free fall test of the actual setup, all of which were 100% successful. We are very impressed with the actuators and are looking forward to flying the hardware on many more upcoming flights!

We recently received some of Actuonix Miniature Linear Actuators. After some problems with the shipping to Germany - which Actuonix solved really quick and convenient, they worked flawlessly throughout the first tests. Because of the different interface modes, they are easy to handle and provide a good rigidity and speed. We definitively recommend these actuators.
