(March 10, 2019, 12:01 am)Would rank 6/5 if I could. I have an Ariens zero-turn. I took my mower in to another shop for a motor repair, and was told that the block was cracked and I needed a new motor for $1000. Luc took our mower in, repaired the hairline crack, repaired the governor, battery, wiring and muffler at a fraction of the price. I now have a great mower with a lot of life left. THANK YOU!
(October 30, 2018, 1:40 am)I've been bringing my mower here for years, for the odd tune up and once, for a full rebuild -- it's a 1971 LawnBoy that I've had since then, when I was 12. The work they do is excellent, their communications are the same, and when I get it home, it works far better than when I took it in. Never any drama.
It's newer ownership of Grant's these past few years, and these guys are young, enthusiastic, hard-working, and professional, just what we were all used to over the years -- so I'm very happy to keep bringing my business to them, even though I know I'm only one person, with one old memory-laden LawnBoy.
What's interesting is that the professionals are doing the same; I've watched how people there treat folks who make their living from their lawnmowers and other essential tools; they understand they need fast repairs, but enduring repairs, too. And judging from the responses from the professionals dropping off their equipment, or picking it up while I've been there, the quality of the repair, the time taken to do it, and the price tick all the boxes for high value.
It's not often you see this kind of commitment from younger folks, and I'm pleased to support a local business run by committed and caring people. And so should we all.
(September 27, 2018, 2:43 am)Great service... they fixed my Honda mower transmission when I had been told by another small engine repair plane that it couldn't be fixed. The mower had nothing else wrong with it... Very pleased that they were able to fix it and they weren't interested in just trying to sell me a new mower. An honest shop!
