I'd done a lot of research on insulation prior to contacting Ecolofty and knew what I wanted in order to improve the efficiency of our home energy use. Christina was very forthcoming and knowledgeable about the product and she offered a lot of detailed observations on the condition of our attic space. Needless to say we had our attic insulation increased to R50 and it was done even sooner than anticipated! Our first night we felt like we were sleeping in a giant cocoon. As a real estate agent, I work with and refer suppliers often. I can unreservedly recommend Ecolofty. We have a big attic and it needed another 12" of insulation. We priced fibreglass with another company, but for just a little more Ecolofty provided cellulose, a superior and typically much more expensive product. They put in about 18". I found this place on Instagram as I was researching efficient and eco-friendly insulation solutions. It was very important to us that the material be ecofriendly as well as able to conserve energy (this being especially important as we are mainly a solar-powered operation). Dave and Christina answered all my questions thoroughly. Not only are the EcoLofty team extremely knowledgeable and reliable, they are also very friendly and helpful. The customer service has been amazing, and it feels like they truly care about us, their work, and the product they use, which is not easy to find in a company! I really felt assured that they had the best, most eco-friendly product on the market, and that it would be safe, secure, and long-lasting.

It was also very clear that Dave knows a lot about insulation, and has a lot of experience in installing it really well. Not only that, but they were very efficient in their set up and clean up, and got the job done well, and quickly - in less than a day. They vacuumed and the place was just as it was when they first came, possibly cleaner!

We can really say/feel that the insulation works amazingly well - The house stays at a very stable temperature and does not fluctuate at nighttime at all (and we don't turn on any heat at all at night). The floor is surprisingly warm and we don't even need to wear slippers inside (not even in the morning!). I can't emphasize enough how magnificent the difference is. We are so happy that we were able to get this done before the winter really sets in. We highly recommend ECOLOFTY, 5+ stars!
