Definitely a must do to tour the forge

HOLY COW!! This was a hidden gem on our vacation! I see by the title that this is a BnB, but we did not spend our night here. We did visit the forge and it was a magical experience. My youngest just loves the show "Forged in Fire", and so we have all seen it too. This experience brought the show to life. Feel the heat of the coal forge, feel the ground shake as "smackie" and "thumper" pound metal into shape. These guys are very talented and seem to love what they do. One of the guys and my oldest boy talked about crafting Master Swords! Do stop, it is very worth your time.

Visited in Summer of 2018. We popped in on our way back to East Sooke from French Beach. Had zero expectations. You guys were awesome. Without missing a beat, you welcomed us in as if we were long time friends.

The kids LOVED how you made us a father from scratch. You answered s bevy of questions and gave us a great education.

Your shop and methods, reviving old machines, was awesome. A treat for anyone who appreciates old world craftsmanship.

We went wild in the gift shop. I still think of that incredible spider guestbook.

Great spirit. No brainer to visit!

Visited the blacksmith forge and gallery. Extremely friendly people. Beautiful intricate artistry. Offered us a forged steel Raven's feather which he made in front of us. So happy to have encountered this place totally by coincidence on the way to Port Renfrew

This is a must see attraction if you are in the Sooke area. We saw the sign for the forge, drove in and were quickly greeted my Marty with a very warm welcome. He took the time to show us around, explain how the blacksmith shop works, and even made us a souvenir to take home. We then went upstairs to view the gallery filled with his amazing artwork. We bought two pieces to take home with us.
