Awesome coffee, high energy staff and a very friendly owner. Great atmosphere. Most importantly very very good pastry and tasty soups and sandwiches. It does get very busy very quickly in the summer months. Line ups can be long and interior space rather limited. Parking space can be tight as well. Go early or late to avoid the crowd.

The energy, positivity and enthusiasm of Phillip, the dancing cashier man is a real treat, made my day. Personable and welcoming. I love coming in here on the way to mystic beach or anything in that direction. Delicious food, great coffee, fun energy. I highly recommend it. Gluten free options too!

Spunky service! Food is top notch - interesting hearty soups, thick savory sandwiches, and an array of baking. My ideal place! Love their selection of Italian meats sandwiches. Large portions. Sassy but fun waitress, and the guy at the espresso machine is ever joyful!

Another visit to one of my favourite coffee / bakery on the island. Always a refreshing break on the drive out to port renfew. Staff is always friendly and the baked goods are worth the drive itself. Tons of gluten free options as well as vegan. Their sausage roll is in my top 2 favourite places to get one. Picked up a fresh strawberry rhubarb muffin for the road and other treats. Never had lunch there yet but seen orders come out of the kitchen and looks awesome. Also picked up a bag of their own roasted coffee. Probably going to be a start of an addiction. Defiantly make it a stop if not for the coffee/tea but for the ambiance. The owner always tries to remember customers and makes you feel welcome.

One of those places that easily becomes a trip unto itself. Getting to Shirley from Victoria is beautiful. It's especially worth doing on a bike as the scenery is incredible, and the roads are very fun.

The cafe itself makes everything there, including little touches like the ketchup. The breakfast food is delicious - I love the fritters. The baked goods are fresh and always are high quality. Coffee is excellent.

If you're headed out this way, it's worthwhile to also check out the lighthouse just down the road.
