Tugwell Creek Honey Farm & Meadery

Came to taste the wine but upon entering the building the lady looked at us and exclaimed “go walk around the property”. I would recommend having more staff, or a better seating area for waiting. Came from Vancouver, unfortunately lady was too busy or stressed out treat us with proper customer service skills. You don’t tell people your busy so go for a walk? Very cold. We left.

Just bought Tugwell's mead at a wine store on Granville Island in Vancouver and it was the most delicious drink I've ever tasted! I thought it was wine until I did some research and realized that mead is an alcoholic drink made from fermented honey. So tasty and unique! I am now planning a trip to the meadery for this summer and will buy this mead by the case! Their website offers so many flavors as well. Looking forward to trying them all! :)

Can not say enough about this place. I did not know mead was wine made of honey. SO Good! Every type they had is lovely. The owners were so nice and informative. The place is beautiful and well kept with lots of animals and plants. They ship internationally and tasting fees go towards saving the bees!!
