Very quiet little hike through beautiful forests. Some Waterfalls on the way, and an opportunity to go up to the Goldstream trestle. The trail seems well kept and not muddy, even in the rain. Park at one of the two locations on the south side of the highway to access the trail head. This is a hike good for any time of the year, and is not to difficult, but it does have some up hills in the beginning. The mine itself has a little placard about it, and you can go in. It is pretty wet in the winter though. If you like Bush wacking, you can find Miner's Spring falls, there is also Biden falls, that trail is pretty clear, but a little hidden. Facing the trailhead, go left, back a cross a clearing before you hit the parking lot, there is a trail to Hidden falls.
