They installed a heat pump at our place on Mayne Island but now whenever I call or email Cedar Coast there is no staff and no response, my emails bounce back as undelivered and their website is down. Phone calls are not returned. Hmmmmm.

Cedar Coast Heating and Mechanical Inc. ordered and completed the instillation of our propane fireplace in our new renovation. These guys are easy to work with and COVID safety practices were carefully followed. They cleaned up all the packaging and took it with them for recycling. Which always feels like a huge bonus living on a small island. Summer who handles the office side of things has a special attachment to Mayne Island and she understands island needs and scheduling challenges. I can happily recommend them to others interested in heating systems.

We had Cedar Coast install a new heat pump for us. Sure, we love the heat pump itself, but the service we got from Cedar Coast was just excellent -- including the fact that when we had some trouble arranging an electrician just three days before the install date Summer got her guy there and the heat pump got installed on-time anyway.

We've also used Cedar Coast for a new hot water heater.

In both cases the service was excellent and the work crew was professional and personable. We will definitely use them for additional work as needed.

The only reason I did not check off "good value" too is that we didn't do any price shopping so I have no idea if someone else might've been cheaper. Even were that true, we'd still be using Cedar Coast.

From quote to finished installation I was kept informed of the process. The whole team is friendly and easy to interact with. They are very knowledgeable about the heating industry and shared their knowledge when I asked questions. While installing my furnace they also serviced my gas fireplace (a last minute request by me that they happily fit in). That's shows a whole new level of customer service! I was able to observe first hand the meticulous care that was taken while performing the service. They were always on time and are very efficient. Summer provided me with all the documentation I needed for the rebate and even registered my furnace for the warrantyI! They are an awesome company to do business with. I highly recommend doing business with Cedar Coast and will continue to use them for all my heating needs.

I recently made the decision to convert from oil to natural gas as my old furnace was on its last legs. Cedar Coast Heating & Mechanical Inc. was recommended to me and after speaking to Summer I can see why. She was extremely helpful and worked with my schedule to arrange for an estimate. When Rick and Brenden came they were very friendly and professional and explained the whole process to me. When I received the estimate and Summer was great about answering my questions. When Rick and Brenden came to do the installation they were wonderful and explained how the system would work and didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. Following the installation Summer provided me with the completed paperwork I needed to apply for the Fortis rebate I qualified for. From start to finish they were friendly and professional and I felt completely at ease with the transition. I would not hesitate to use them in the future for any services and would highly recommend them.
