(September 13, 2017, 10:01 pm)My wife took a formal dress in for hemming, and was given an estimate of $39, which she agreed to. Unfortunately, when she went in to pick it up, she was charged double, with the only expiation being that it had been more work than the seamstress had thought. She eventually got a 10% reduction, but the experience left a bad taste, and we won't be using this tailor again The work was done well, but surprises are not welcome with regards to agreed upon cost.
