Chris and his team were recommended to us by Admirals Roofing. I contacted Chris and he came to our house promptly. His quote was very reasonable compared to another quote we received. His team installed new downspouts for our house in one day; no problems, no issues, and an easy bill payment process as well!
Thank you Chris!
We bought a stucco house with stucco soffits about 4 feet wide three years ago. The vents in the soffits were made of screen door mesh and varied from about 3 inches wide to 4 inches wide and ran the length of the soffit on the north and the south sides of the house. Squirrels had made a couple holes in the mesh and a bird family took up housekeeping in the southern soffit.
I phoned several contractors to get quotes to cover the vents with a much more solid aluminum venting. Most never got back to me and one who did gave me a quote for covering the entire stucco soffit with aluminum soffits - far too expensive and unnecessary. They said no self-respecting company would do just the covering of the vents and that all we would get would be quotes on the whole soffit.
Not so with “Network Home Improvements”, whose estimator, Chris, actually listened to what I wanted and said, “Yup, we can do that!” A couple of weeks later they started with aluminum, coloured to match our fascia. They did the north side and then were stumped by the birds still in one part of the southern side. We decided to wait until the birds had fledged. Two weeks or so later the birds had fledged and Chris sent his team out for an hour or so (in the rain!) to finish the job. Although it was not on the original work order, while they were up on the ladder they also blocked up several other spots where downspouts left other roof entry points for rats, squirrels, or birds. We are very happy with the look of the venting.
Our roof has two parts - a flat part and a pitched part. The pitched part is too high for comfort for me to check out whether that gutter needed cleaning. The workers checked for me and discovered that the gutter already was the Alu-Rex system so no clog-ups there. If they had been dishonest they could have told me the gutter needed replacing and I would not have been any the wiser. They did not take advantage of me.
They also installed continuous aluminum gutter to the north side of our carport with an Alu-Rex T-Rex continuous hanger system and tied it into the existing downpipe there. Then they also installed an Alu-Rex Gutter Clean system to the gutter on our sunroom which keeps all the leaves and needles out of the gutter.
The whole job cost $1104, pre-tax. We were also pleased with their cleanup as I found only two screws on the ground after they left.
In sum, I highly recommend Network Home Improvements.
