(October 27, 2019, 7:32 pm)After waiting for 3 weeks for a call back we finally called Pureways, they had us booked in right away and our gutter leaks have all been repaired! They held through the last painful except for one and they were very quick to get back and reseal it as well as added a protection so the water doesn’t leak behind the gutter anymore good service professional and hard workers!
(October 22, 2019, 8:40 pm)At first I was pleased with the gutter cleaning and spraying of moss removal in 4 or 5 areas of the roof. Then I got the bill. The amount for gutter cleaning was as quoted, but the moss removal was not quoted and it seemed to me that they were charging way more than it was worth. Add to that them missing one whole side of the roof, well not good. So get a written quote from these people BEFORE they do any work.
One other thing, and this is my fault, but it shows a lack of conscience and business ethics on their part. I issued a cheque in the amount of the invoice, but I mistakenly wrote the cheque on our US $ bank account. Pureways maintained that they were just paid the face amount of the cheque in Canadian funds, but in fact they were paid in American funds, so they got a bonus of about $135. I pointed this out and they ignored me.
So caveat emptor with this firm.
(October 10, 2019, 4:59 pm)12/12 Pitch roof and they did it no problem I was glad to see them use proper safety equipment while cleaning I have a very steep roof and didn’t want anyone falling off. They assured me of their ability on tackling the job and showed me their fall arrest tickets. Very impressed.
