Karey and I did my first assessment when I was in elementary school, she traveled from her location in Victoria to me in Ladysmith at the time, which was a blessing. She gave me many tools that started the evaluation of my learning skills and techniques. Teaching me what dyslexia is and why it was a bit harder for me. Dyslexia can be very difficult to deal with if you don’t know how you specifically learn! She helped me understand that. When I enrolled in an intense schooling for my career as a registered massage therapist the school asked for an updated assessment for some accommodations.
Karey and I met again as adults, we had an amazing reassessment, teaching me more and adding to my toolbox of skills that will help with my college career!
When I went on to take my registration exams Karey helped me even through the stressful Covid times, filling out paperwork, emails and phone calls that I needed.
Karey has taught me so much through the years and I’m so grateful for all her help. She truly has a gift for teaching and helping people. She’s kind and cares about her clients! Would recommend her for anyone looking for guidance with their dyslexia journey!
Thank you Karey!!
