This was the only building designed by Erickson Massey during their brief stint as campus planners in the late 1960s. While poorly received at the time due to its long expanses of bare concrete, the building in fact responds well to its forested site, enhanced with native vegetation designed by renowned landscape architect Cornelia Oberlander.
