OBPOP is terrific! We moved here from Hawaii last Feb where we had previous experience in Hawaii with two different preschools. Before we moved to Victoria, I researched many preschools and toured a handful and lo and behold Oak Bay Preschool, which is walking distance for us, is simply the best. Amy, the ECE, is a GEM, so experienced, loving, and patient. The classroom is spacious with lots of different play areas...and the backyard is the same way, set up with tons of natural structures: playhouse with sand box, tire swing, log climbing structure...and I love the old row boat in the back for imaginative play! Plus, as an involved parent, it's been easy for the kids to take right to the school and good for me to build friendships with other duty parents. It's more like a family and I can't say enough good things about it here. My son will attend the 4's class and my youngest will start next year in the 3's. We have three more years with Oak Bay Preschool and I know, without a doubt, that my kids will have the best start to their early learning experiences at OBPOP.
