I've only started buying bread at Cobs in the last year and I do find it to be a fairly affordable and consistent bakery. As a chain, some people may turn up their noses but their baguettes and buns are great and seem fresh. Their cinnamon buns are also pretty popular with my family.

cant walk by without wanting to get something. All is great from food to service.

With Cobs you know what you are getting -- a variety of fresh bread and baked goodies of good quality. They're cashiers are efficient and friendly. You don't get the artisanal surprises of an independent bakery such as Bond Bonds or Bubby Rose's, so that's why not 5 stars. However, as a neighbourhood bakery that is open when most working people need them (hint: after 5 pm and before 8 am and on weekends) this place gets two thumbs up.
