I knew the property had issues and wanted a clear summary to present to the sellers when negotiating price. I wanted an inspector that wasn't connected in any way to the sale of the property or any realtor. I wanted someone who was protecting ME. For my money, a 4 1/2 hour inspection and 1 1/2 hour discussion of the findings made more sense than a one hour inspection and 1/2 hour walk through (what most of the other inspectors give you). This is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for' and it was well worth it. Lee knows his stuff; he was thorough and detailed. The report helped us negotiate a price that covered the cost of the major repairs. I can't thank Crest enough for their professionalism. You've taken away the fear of going forward with a fixer-upper and we are so thrilled. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :-)

We've had 3 inspections done by Lee (the first one over 10 years ago on our first home purchase and 2 more recently during COVID). His reports are extremely detailed and thorough but the real value is the time he spends going over the report. It's obvious he has great expertise, he is very good at explaining things and is clearly passionate about the work. I doubt there is a better house inspector out there! Crest went out of their way to help us. We needed the inspection promptly so Lee the owner kindly agreed to visit the home on a Sunday.
