David Grist started in the sheet metal and roofing industry in 1967. He placed first in Western Canada in the Canadian Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Competition. David obtained his sheet metal journeyman certification in 1974. He gained experience working for local sheet metal & roofing contractors until founding Grist Slate & Tile Roofing in 1988.
