  My family and I were dedicated to finding the best care in Victoria for my 3 year old son - and we are very blessed to have found it here. We drive 30 minutes, from James Bay, to bring our son here because it is the best care on the island.
  
  I can't rate his teachers highly enough, Miss Pam and Miss Manal are exceptionally dedicated and should honestly win awards. They treat the children as if they were their own. Linda, the manager, keeps the school running very smoothly and is also extremely devoted and wonderful.
  
  Although my son was very scared to attend school, the teachers were very welcoming and understanding. They made me feel at ease during the transition phase (which felt long, believe me!) and were very patient with the entire process.
  
  Now my son has many friends in school and is very social - where he used to be the opposite, and was afraid of other children. I strongly believe the staff at Island Montessori have facilitated and encouraged his growth. Wonderful group of kids that go there as well, all so lovely.
  
  Just recently, on the way up to school, my son said pensively "mommy: yesterday, I didn't like school. But today I like school. And tomorrow I like school." It melted my heart. Thank you Island Montessori, for helping my son during these precious formative years.

  We couldn't have found a better school for our son and are so grateful to the staff and kids who make everyday a safe and fun learning environment. Our son has grown so much. He is just a sponge for knowledge and life. The teachers really are special. One thing I love about Island Montessori is the staff have been there for years and all the teachers get to know all the kids, regardless of which class they are in. Great community feel.

  We love Island Montessori School and the amazing teachers. This year we have our son in pre-school ; and we had our daughter for 3 years at this fantastic school. We love the multi aged classroom, the commitment to follow each child on their learning journey and the Montessori approach that has given our busy kids an opportunity to play with many friends and express themselves. Love this little school and really recommend it to everyone! Great way to invest in your kids' future

  I was introduced to Island Montessori when I met my wife a teacher there for over 12 years. I have watched how they have taken children with developmental disabilities and woven them into the school with other children by developing special programs for these children. I love watching our daughter treat and see everyone as an equal. She has attended the school for 4 years and she is now set to take on regular kindergarten at her catchment school. They have done a wonderful job preparing her for success in the the school district. I highly recommend this school before your kids head to public schools.

  Island Montessori School is an amazing place. Our son has grown so much through his experience at Island Montessori. The staff are the most caring, wonderful individuals that truly love children. They are warm and accepting and will bend over backwards to ensure your child needs are met. We drive over 10 kms to get to school and it's worth every drop of gas. Highly recommend this magical place for all children!
