Med Grill Royal Oak

Nice mid-high end place with good atmosphere and very good food! You may have to park down the street. Prices a bit high but the food really was very good. The GF menu is extensive and the seafood pasta dish was excellent.

I'm just a little sad.

In my mind, this is a place with excellent food. It seems that they've created that reputation in all our minds and are now simply coasting on the basis of past success.

The food wasn't bad and came with a top-dressing of class. Price tags match the concept but execution fell short.

Service is always great so it is clear that the decline in quality is due to a bad night in the kitchen or cost-cutting management, not a loss of identity.

It's still a higher-end, casual restaurant and I'd still go back for a slightly nicer dinner with friends. When I do, I hope they will have pulled themselves together and returned to serving the meals I recall!

As a non-local, non-family member, this restaurant is not somewhere I would go just because. However, after a wonderful dining experience with my spouse just over a week ago, and now with my mother tonight, I must say, this is a restaurant I will return to on a regular basis, for 3 reasons. First, the food is excellent. Next, the environment is picturesque, serene, and full of contented guests. Finally, and most importantly, the customer service. Right from our greeting, and our prompt seating, to the delivery of our cheque and farewell, the staff (most notably Elaina) was attentive, yet non-lingering, there was no rush, they offered fair accommodation, and there was always a smile on thier faces with quick witty remarks to keep us entertained and laughing. Elaina, specifically was very knowledgeable and helpful with menu choices, wine pairings, and overall cheerful tone. Loved it!

Another visit to the Med Grill. Very good service and food is great. The Tuscan Dinner option is a nice option I have not seen before. The Tuscan Dinner is where you select course options from 2 to 3 choices for each step of a 3 course dinner. Very tasty.
