Pho-Ever Restaurant (Korean & Vietnamese)

My family's go-to restaurant! Very clean and delicious. The service is always good!

They recently did some light renovations and overhauled their menu with beautiful pictures. A+ execution. I wish they would improve the access to the rear parking. One of these days someone's going to peel the side of the building or the car parked closest to the corner. You'll know what I mean if you've been there.

I asked the waiters advice on what is popular or what they're known for and she seemed flustered by the question and didn't know how to answer it like it's never been asked before.

The pho special was quite bland and lacked substance. However, I can see how some of their other dishes would be quite tasty. The spicy seafood noodle soup looks amazing and apparently tastes great according to my dinner guest. The deep fried spring rolls are ok but I'm not a fan of how sweet the dipping sauce was.

I will definitely visit again and look forward to it.

I was quite excited when the first time trying this restaurant dine-in. It’s much more decent if you go dine-in instead of ordering delivery. The restaurant is large and bright inside—really good capacity and chill environment for large groups and parties. Soup is authentic, and it’s even better compared with some of Vancouver ones. The spicy soup has a great homemade flavor, and some Korean girls described it as “the flavor of Mom”— Indeed the owner(also the chief) is a Korean mother—lovely, friendly and also very experienced in cooking. No MSG tasted. The only problem is about the size. Fairly speaking it’s not big, and may not be super satisfied if you’re a meat lover. Recommended appy seafood pancake tastes great and it’s also bubbling fresh. Average $20-$35 if there’s no alcohol order. Best Korean food in flavor around UVic area.

I’ve been coming to Phoever forever and was just obsessed with the broth ... recently also discovered that everything else on the menu is super good as well. Authentic Korean dishes, worth give them a try!!! Owner is really nice, I highly recommend this place!!

Really impressed... I've been a few times and the food is always fresh and very tasty. Fast take out as well. Will be back for sure!
