This is ice cream 2.0! It's a pretty small place with limited seating. We had to be put on a wait list to get a table but it was well worth it!
Snowy Village has best the bingsu in Victoria. The staffs are very nice and friendly. The place is small but very welcoming. Definitely coming back!
I see people complaining about the tiny space. Well, that's the reality in Victoria. You don't go into a place and leave immediately because of the space. You don't go into a dessert cafe and expect to see a restaurant size seating. To me, It is manageable cozy space. The store in Richmond is also tiny, maybe slightly bigger than Victoria store. I can't comment on other people's customer service experience but my experience yesterday was good. Friendly staff, waited patiently while we tried to decide what to order. Then they asked "dine in or take out?" and I asked dine in.. He, looks like the owner, said they don't have tables big enough to fit us all. (There were 3 tables occupied already). I said it's fine, we can manage 2 adults and 3 children at the bar table. AND we did. We enjoyed our mango bingsoo. Will definitely return on a warmer day~ :)
Absolutely love this place! You can tell everything is made from fresh ingredients, and the bingsoo I had was absolutely delicious! The service here is phenomenal and I recommend people going here, and the staff here are super nice. I definitely will be coming back :)
Nice to finally have a shaved ice dessert place in Victoria and not have to go Vancouver to get yummy desserts. It is unfortunate that the store front wasn't larger to accommodate more people as it does get quite busy and not enough tables for everyone. The dessert is definitely best enjoyed fresh and eating it while seated. But they have a take out option if you cannot get a table. It would be better if they closed a little later since it is a place for dessert and 8/9 is a bit early considering when people finish dinner or when people would decide to go for dessert at night
