(September 4, 2018, 8:52 pm)Yesterday I had the opportunity to sit in a Dugout canoe made from a 500 year old red cedar tree with elders and councillor JP, while paddling around Lel'tos Island. It was a great honor to be sitting in this boat and I feel so so grateful and humbled to have been invited to journey in this beautiful canoe... And trust that this island will be returned promptly to my new friends
