Amazing view from Mt Maxwell! Worth the drive!
We stayed in the log cabin at Foxglove Farm for a few days in November 2020. It was a great experience - we loved the heritage cabin itself, enjoyed walking the farm and surrounding provincial park with our dog, and appreciated the big box of organic veggies and eggs, and the quality of cooking instruments with which the cabin was equipped. Jeanne Marie and the crew made us feel very welcome, and we will certainly visit again.
I really enjoyed my time on this beautiful farm and loved every minute of my time there. The Red Cabin was cosy and cute and walking around the farm with a coffee in the morning was truly gorgeous! Thanks for making it so easy to book in and come stay!
When we first arrived we were taken by the beauty of the nature of this place. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, just big enough for the two of us. The staff was very friendly especially Megan who took us on our evening walks (Megan is the most adorable farm dog I have ever met) and cheetah who kept us company for as long as we stayed there (cheetah is the cutest farm cat ever). We didn't want to leave. I would've given them more than 5 stars.
If you wish an authentic experience on a working organic farm with vegetables, fruit, chickens and various animals along with friendly farm staff, then this is the spot for you! We had a warm and caring welcome from Jeanne Marie and Michael on our arrival. The Green cottage was a perfect escape for us with comfortable beds and sparkling clean bathroom, kitchen, and living room which is also very quiet at night. A great spot to hang out or to adventure from, to explore Salt Spring Island. We went to the market and Foxglove Farm was there with such a lovely array of herbs, squash, eggs, fruit, potatoes and and all that is in season for this time of year - do not miss the apple, pear, quince juice! We loved it!
